Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical, Les Misérables, returns to the Liverpool Empire Theatre as part of the nationwide Let The People Sing project celebrating 40 years of the iconic show.

Winner of over 100 international awards and seen by over 65 million people worldwide, Les Misérables is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. The true modern classic is based on Victor Hugo’s timeless novel and features one of the most memorable scores of all time.

Les Misérables tells a powerful tale of love, redemption and revolution, set against the turmoil of post-revolutionary France. The legendary musical has captivated audiences worldwide with its unforgettable characters, from Jean Valjean to Javert, and iconic songs like I Dreamed a Dream, One Day More and Bring Him Home.

This production at the Liverpool Empire Theatre, one of 11 UK amateur premieres of the show, brings to life the magic, passion and humanity of one of the world’s most beloved musicals.
