What's On at the Playhouse, Liverpool

Here you will find what's on at the Liverpool Playhouse, which opened as a music hall in 1866 in Williamson Square as the Star Concert Hall attracting the likes of Robert Donat, Michael Redgrave, Noel Coward, Richard Burton, Patricia Routledge, Anthony Hopkins, and Richard Briers throughout its time.

After a brief time as Liverpool Repertory Theatre, it was renamed Liverpool Playhouse in 1916 and, today, the 637 capacity theatre is home to touring drama productions, comedians and "in conversation" events.
