Swing'it - Prohibition
Swing’it is one of the most successful swing bands in Europe with almost 1000 concerts across the world - despite their young age.
They take the audience on a journey 100 years back in time to the 1920s New Orleans, with stories and lyrics about the roaring 20s and the foundation of jazz; about glamour, glitter and the Great Gatsby; about bootleggers, speakeasies and illegal parties during the Prohibition and flappers and dappers partying their nights away in the opulence and decadence of the Golden Era!
Their music is the perfect blend between vintage and modern; inspired by the old, but presented fresh and new. Taking the traditional jazz for what it actually was – party music – and mixing it with poppy arrangements and a great live show results in a unique atmosphere that puts a smile on everyone’s face.
