One of Britain's most successful musical artists, having received over 56 platinum awards and worldwide hits Nine Million Bicycles, The Closest Thing to Crazy, If You Were A Sailboat and What a Wonderful World (with Eva Cassidy) amongst many other.
Born in Georgia, at the time part of the Soviet Republic, before moving to Belfast at the age of eight, and then London, her unique, instantly recognisable voice and distinct personality truly shine through her self-penned music, often with composer Mike Batt, and exquisite interpretations of jazz and blues standards and songs by the likes of Randy Newman, John Mayall, The Cure, Louis Armstrong, Canned Heat, Ron Sexsmith, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, and Fran Healey.
