Jim Jefferies
Californian-living Australian comedian Jim Jefferies, one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, who has entertained audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy returns with his new show Son of a Carpenter.
He first achieved international attention in 2007, when he was attacked onstage while performing at the Manchester Comedy Festival, the city where he was living at the time and where he also fell victim to a home invasion that led to having his car stolen and the Sydney native being tied up and sliced in the head with a machete.
Since honoured as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival in 2019, his ninth stand up special Intolerant was released on Netflix and he currently hosts his own podcast I Don’t Know About That with Jim Jefferies.
