Shakespeare North Playhouse is a stunning venue in the heart of Prescott, boasting a traditional 470 seat timber framed Shakespearean style theatre.  It hosts vibrant new and premier performances, theatre, music, comedy, and workshops, with events and activities filling the venue across all its space, including the theatre, exhibition gallery, studio, and their Sir Ken Dodd performance garden.

There are many car parks close to Shakespeare North Playhouse.  The closest are Mill Street Car Park and NCP Prescot Deanes House 

There is a limited number of accessible parking spaces (use postcode L34 3AB for your sat nav, and follow the signs for Blue Badge parking.)

The nearest train station to Shakespeare North Playhouse is Prescot Station, which is approximately a 12 minute walk.

There are regular trains to Prescot Station from Liverpool, with a journey time of around 20 minutes, and from Manchester, with a journey time of around 1hr 20 mins, with a change at Wigan or Huyton.

Shakespeare North Playhouse has a capacity of 470 seats.  Please be aware that the Cockpit Theatre is a replica of the Globe theatre built in 1629, so seats are benches with cushions, some of which have backs.
