Skid Row
The iconic New Jersey hard rock band were one of the most successful acts of the 80s and 90s. Their self-titled debut, released in 1989, achieved five times platinum certification in the U.S., along with platinum status in Australia, triple platinum status in Canada, and it also went gold in the UK. The followup, 1991's Slave to Grind, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and went on to achieve a double platinum certification in the U.S. and went platinum in Canada, while rising to gold status in Australia and reaching no.5 in the UK album charts.
Over time, the band enjoyed a string of Top 10 singles, including the UK Top 20 hits "18 & Life", "Monkey Business" and "Wasted Time," with their new fully re-energised line-up, kicking their sound way up to modern hard rock royalty with new powerhouse vocalist, singer Erik Grönwall, formerly of H.E.A.T - one of the best frontmen of this or any hard rock era - joining the family.
