Sensational 60s Experience

Sensational 60s Experience

Starring Mike Pender (original voice of The Searchers) + The Trems (all former members of The Tremeloes) + Dozy Beaky Mick and Tich + The Fortunes + The Dakotas.

Whether you come to relive your childhood memories or you just simply want to see pop music at its very best, step back in time and come and experience the musical phenomena of the 1960’s.

Originally formed as a Skiffle group in Liverpool in 1959, Mike Pender and the band took their name from the John Ford Western, The Searchers starring John Wayne, and produced hits including 'Needles And Pins', 'When You Walk In The Room', and 'Love Potion Number 9'.

Starting out as an English beat group founded in Dagenham Essex in 1958, The Trems - originally called Brian Poole And The Tremeloes - will perform classics such as 'Even The Bad Times Are Good', 'Do You Love Me', and 'Silence Is Golden'.

Dozy Beaky Mick and Tich, originally called Dave Dee And The Bostons, formed in 1961. In 1966, the band were in the charts for 50 weeks out of 52 and in 1967, their record sales surpassed those of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles in Germany alone. Their chart-breaking hits include 'Bend It', 'Zabadak' and 'The Legend Of Xanadu', plus many more.

Hailing from Birmingham England, The Fortunes first came into prominence in 1964 with their hit single 'Caroline', which was used as the signature tune for the influential pirate radio station of the same name. Their songs have stood the test of time and have become household favourites with classics such as 'Storm In A Teacup', 'You’ve Got Your Troubles', and 'Freedom Come Freedom Go'.

Originally convened as a backing group from Manchester, The Dakotas were largely associated with Liverpudlian Billy J Kramer, who was the lead vocalist for the group during the 1960s. The band are most known for their hits 'Little Children', 'The Cruel Sea', and 'Do You Want To Know A Secret'.
