Oak Theatre Community Evening

Discover Southport's Hidden Gem!

As part of Independent Venue Week 2027, we are opening our doors and inviting our local community to discover everything Oak Theatre & Studios has to offer.

Set within the stunning historic grounds of Scarisbrick Hall School, Oak Theatre is a vibrant 391-seat venue bringing a diverse programme of live entertainment to the heart of the local community. From family theatre and comedy to live music, dance, orchestral performances and tribute acts, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Alongside our main theatre, Oak Studios offers versatile spaces for rehearsals, workshops, classes and intimate performances, providing opportunities for local performers, community groups and creative organisations.

Our Community Night is the perfect opportunity to explore our facilities, meet the team and discover how you can get involved. Whether you're a theatre lover, local performer, community group or simply curious about what's behind our doors, we'd love to welcome you.

The evening will feature live music, an introduction to Oak Theatre from our Theatre Manager, Tom Cain, and an opportunity to learn more about our upcoming programme, venue hire and community initiatives.

And to make the evening extra special, the first 100 guests will receive a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival!
