Thornton Hough Village Club presents TENNESSEE WALTZ plus special guest HENRY BALL. Tennessee Waltz are about to ?go large? as they team up with some special musical friends for their welcome return to Thornton Village Club on Saturday 22nd November. Formed in 2016, Tennessee Waltz are singer songwriters Jimmy Rae and Sarah-Lou Fletcher, whose trademark vocal harmonies, stirring ballads and infectious country toe-tappers have won them a loyal following across the North West. For this special one-off show at Thornton Village Club, they?ll be performing for the first time with a 4-piece band, comprising Tom Hutchinson on keyboards, Nick Silver on fiddle, Andy Prince on bass and Dave Buckley on drums. Together they will be performing songs from the duo?s most recent album ?A Different Road? including ?Under the Mersey Moon?, Jimmy?s plaintive love song to Liverpool, and now the title of an inspiring new hit musical. Also on the menu will be souped up arrangements of songs from Jimmy?s 40 year back catalogue, interspersed as ever with a few vintage country classics. Special guest will be popular local singer songwriter and guitarist Henry Ball, performing a selection of beautiful folk ballads from his debut album Pages From a Book, along with some new songs.
