McFly
McFly's critically acclaimed return to the UK music scene in 2016 was a huge success when they played a series of shows performing every single track they ever released.
Formed by London musician Tom Fletcher and Bolton singer Danny Jones after the two initially met while auditioning for the boyband V, later working together while writing songs for Busted. Both talented guitarists and vocalists, the pair decided to form their own band in 2003. Named McFly after Michael J. Fox's time-travelling hero in the Back To The Future films, they became a quartet after recruiting Dougie Poynter on bass guitar and Harry Judd on drums.
Their debut album, Room On The Third Floor, went right to the top of the UK albums chart in 2004, making McFly the youngest band ever to achieve a No.1 album.
Now with seven no.1 singles to their name, two chart-topping albums, numerous Smash Hits, Brit and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, not to mention their supergroup pairing with Busted (as McBusted), they have been cited as major influences by the likes of One Direction and The Vamps.
