Genre-bending psych-funk ‘n blues trio Little Barrie and Malcolm Catto return with their unique musical melting pot of 21st century rock ‘n roll, deep funk, jazz and fuzzy atmospherics that pushes their music into exciting new directions.
Further cementing the chemistry between guitarist Barrie Cadogan, bassist Lewis Wharton and drummer Malcolm Catto - who joined following the death of long-time drummer Virgil Howe (son of Yes guitarist Steve Howe) - the trio trust their instincts to push themselves into unchartered musical territories.
Originally formed by Barrie Cadogan in Nottingham, the English guitarist is perhaps better known for his association with Primal Scream, The The, Morrissey, Liam Gallagher & John Squire, Johnny Marr, Paul Weller, Edwyn Collins, the Chemical Brothers, and Paulo Nutini among many others. He also played guitar on the intro to the TV series Better Call Saul.
Their sound has drawn from a mixture of influences including freakbeat, garage rock, UK R&B, neo-psychedelia, surf rock, krautrock, funk and rock and roll.
