Cerys Hafana
Described as "one of the most original voices in contemporary Welsh folk music," Cerys Hafana is a Powys composer and multi-instrumentalist who mangles, mutates, and transforms traditional music.
The Guardian have called her "a master of the Welsh triple harp" who "explores resonances from the past that connect with the modern day."
Singing in the Welsh language, she explores the creative possibilities and unique qualities of the triple harp, and is also interested in found sounds, archive materials and electronic processing.
