A Verse For Today
Step into the minds of 20 disabled artists as they explore adulthood, independence and the disabled experience through modern and self-written poetry. Today explores living in the moment and remembering the beauty in the things we love, despite what the world throws at us.
This process has been co-led by Tip Tray and RAWD and influenced by the views and poetry of the entire RAWD community.
RAWD (Random Acts of Wildness Disability) has spent over a decade co-creating joyful and inclusive spaces where disabled artists can thrive. RAWD are housed at Storyhouse weekly hosting sessions that work towards theatre productions.
We believe creativity is a powerful vehicle for independence, confidence, and expression – enabling people to dream bigger, communicate more freely, and take up space that’s rightfully theirs.
Tip Tray Theatre is a disabled-led theatre company based in Knowsley and working across Merseyside. They champion emerging and underrepresented artists by creating opportunities for training and professional development, producing socially engaged theatre and specialising in access consultancy
