What's On at the Eventim Apollo, London

The Eventim Apollo, historically known as the Hammersmith Apollo, is one of London’s indoor arena venues, hosting music concerts, musicals, festivals, magic, Eurovision events, The Royal Variety, and comedy.  It has hosted the world’s biggest stars including Buddy Holly, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, The Beatles, Elton John, Queen, The Who, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Michael Ball, Kylie, Michael McIntyre, Penn & Teller, and Selena Gomez.

This Grade II art deco building opened in 1932 and is designed with removable stall seats to open up capacity for standing when required.  With stall seats, the venue has a capacity of 3500 and standing it can accommodate up to 5’000.  The Eventim Apollo still has the original Compton pipe organ thanks to the English Heritage and local council.

Doctor Dotlittle The Musical and SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical both made their world premieres at the Apollo, and it was home to the BBC comedy show ‘Live At The Apollo’.  It also premiered the film Mamma Mia!  Here We Go Again.  There are plenty of concerts and events to look forward to at the Eventim Apollo including Whoopi Goldberg Live, Helloween, Sting, The Saw Doctors, Amy McDonald, and Riverdance.  You can book tickets online below for the Eventim Apollo.

Eventim Apollo advises that you do not park near the venue as it has no car parking, and is mostly residential.  Car theft is high in the vacinity too, so alternate travel is recommended.
