Steve Nieve & Kessada (Elvis Costello & The Imposters)
Steve Nieve has been a central musical collaborator of Elvis Costello for over three decades, first as a member of The Attractions and more recently with The Imposters.
The keyboard player from London has appeared on numerous Costello albums, and was a key creative partner on the album and international tour Painted From Memory with Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach. Steve is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received a Grammy Award in 2019 for his work on Look Now.
Alongside his work with Costello, Nieve has developed an extensive solo career as a pianist and composer, releasing a series of piano-led albums including Keyboard Jungle, It’s Raining Somewhere, Lazy Point, Welcome to the Voice, Mumu, Together and Windows.
About Love is a musical evening imagined and written by Muriel Teodori, bringing together voice, piano, spoken text and simple visual cues. In this project, Nieve performs alongside singer and producer Kessada in an intimate duo format, combining original material with personal reinterpretations of Elvis Costello, Tom Waits and Nick Lowe.
