What's On at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, London

The O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush was originally built in 1903 as a music hall and is the former BBC Television Centre.  This Grade II listed building has operated as an entertainment venue since 1994, hosting music concerts, comedy, dance nights, events, shows, and premieres.  It is often used as a ‘warm up gig’ venue, before artists embark on huge arena tours.

From 1953 till 1993, Shepherd’s Bush Empire was the BBC Television Centre, producing programmes such as Crackerjack, That’s Life, The Generation Game, This Is Your Life, and Wogan, whose show exclusively commandeered the building from 1985.  In its very early years whilst it was still a music hall, Charlie Chaplin performed there, and during its BBC years, so did stars such as Lulu, Cilla Black, Shirley Bassey, and Vera Lynn.

The 2’000 capacity O2 Empire, Shepherd’s Bush has many exciting events, gigs, concerts, comedy, and shows to look forward to including Stavros Halkias, One Vision Of Queen, Shayne Ward, Heaven 17, Tom McRae, The Rasmus, Inspiral Carpets, and Chris McCausland.  Book your tickets online below for the O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush.
