The New Wimbledon Theatre opened in 1910 and is the only theatre in Britain to have a Turkish bath in its basement with a design reflective of the Victorian era. The Grade II listed building has been home to some of the largest shows, productions, musicals, plays, pantomimes, and events.
With a seating capacity of 1670 across its three floors, it has seen many premieres, including Oliver and Half A Sixpence. Bus stop - Sir Cyril Black Way, Wimbledon Bus Station, South Wimbledon. The 57, 93, and 131 all stop outside the theatre and 163, 164, 200, 219, and 493 all stop 5-10mins walk away from the venue.
