Since 1979, Lonnie Holley has devoted his life to improvisational creativity, be that through drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, performance, music, or filmmaking.?\n Holley has toured the world, and released seven critically acclaimed albums, including Oh Me Oh My ? featuring collaborations with Bon Iver, Michael Stipe (REM), Moor Mother, Sharon Van Etten, and Rokia Kon? ? and most recently, Tonky. They have been named in the top albums of the year by many publications, and The New Yorker named his 2018 record MITH one of the best albums of the decade.\n His directorial debut, the narrative short film I Snuck Off the Slave Ship, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, while his award-winning 2023 podcast made him a finalist for the Peabody Award.\n His art has been featured in exhibitions, publications and major museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Tate Modern.\n He is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, and continues to make art, music, and as he puts it, ?thoughtsmith,? from his home and studio in Atlanta, Georgia and around the world.\n ?\n 10% administrative fee applies for online & telephone orders.A ?2.50 postage fee is applicable on all orders if opting for postal delivery.More information about booking fees\n Ticket prices for this event include a venue restoration levy.More information about our venue restoration levy
