What's On at the London Coliseum, London

The London Coliseum is home to the English National Opera and the English National Ballet.  It was originally built as one of London’s largest family variety theatres and opened in 1904.  It has been home to variety shows, musicals, comedies, pantomimes, The Royal Variety, and plays for many years, and even became a cinema for a few years.

With a seating capacity of 2359, the London Coliseum holds the largest audience in any West End Theatre.  This Grade II listed building situated in the heart of London’s West End on St. Martin’s Lane was the first theatre in England to have a triple revolve installed on its stage.

The London Coliseum is currently home to The Great Gatsby.  English National Opera performances to look forward to include Cinderella, Carmen, HMS Pinafore, and Cosi fan tutte, whilst the English National Ballet will be performing Nutcracker, and Akram Khan’s Giselle.  You can book tickets online below for the London Coliseum.

The London Coliseum does not allow any hot drinks, food, or alcohol purchased from outside the venue to be brought inside.

They do have food and beverages for purchase within the venue.

Yes latecomers will be permitted into the performance but only at a suitable time.  There are monitors to watch the performance whilst you wait.
