He brings his new orchestra ? the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra ? from Munich to the Hall almost 50 years to the day since they last visited, when the young Simon himself was here in the audience. They?re ranked as one of the world?s finest ensembles, and tonight they perform the feast that is Schumann?s Second Symphony, followed by Stravinsky?s complete ballet music for The Firebird.\n
