Hillsborough - One Boy's Story Of A Tragedy

Hillsborough was and is a city-wide tragedy, felt by both red and blue. Everton have stood with Liverpool in solidarity since day one, and still do. One city, two clubs.

Originally published as a book, written by Shaun Millea. Hillsborough - One Boy's Story Of A Tragedy tells the story of little Frankie who's dad goes the match and doesn't come home. It's about family, loss and grief. The show follows the life of young Frankie, who lives with his Mum, Dad, and his younger sister Mary.

The family is often visited by Grandad, who tells exaggerated tall tales of his past. Uncle Terry, and Aunty Lil, who always seem to visit at the worst possible moments, they get the kids all excited, before swiftly leaving Mum and Dad to settle them down again.

The play highlights the family bond between parent and child, with a typical Dad who makes silly jokes and a quick-witted Mum who has the last word, all while the young kids childishly make fun of each other.
