The Analogues

August 29 1966 ? Candlestick Park, San Francisco: the last live concert The Beatles performed to a large and frenzied crowd. From that day on, The Beatles focused on studio albums. Abbey Road Studio 2 would subsequently see an explosion of creativity and innovation in song writing and recording techniques, the likes of which had never been seen.??\n Iconic albums Revolver, Sgt Pepper?s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The Beatles (known as The White Album), Let It Be and Abbey Road were all recorded in this five year period which is heralded as one of the most productive periods in the history of pop music, but they were never performed live? Until 2015, when Dutch band The Analogues set out to perform all six studio albums in their entirety. The Analogues are anything but a typical tribute band. Their mission: to play those iconic, never-performed Beatles? albums live. No wigs, no costumes, but an obsessive attention to authentic musical detail, using the same vintage instruments and sounds.??\n
