The project will be begin in the Spring Term, with a launch visit to the theatre, visits to school from practitioners and finishing with a day at the Everyman to rehearse and perform in matinee and evening showcases.

Performed by an all-female cast of Syrian refugees, the production skilfully amalgamates the women's own narratives of bitter exile and ferocious war into the ancient Greek text. A week of games and creating a performance for 7 to 10 year olds. Run by experienced workshop leaders, children work together to come up with their own rules, choose a theme for the week and build on it through improvisation and drama games. The fun-filled week culminates in a performance - completely of their own creation - in our studio space on Friday afternoon.
